This is both fucking insane and so fucking stupid that this administration wants to go on this hill where inevitably their supporters will have to accept that they never supported the constitution. Just the parts they personally liked.
I swear the western states need to align a new militia guard that’s designed to help combat this. This is EXACTLY what the Constitution was made for and precisely why the founders made sure we understood what rights were important and how to utilize them.

Our 2nd amendment calls out the right to an armed militia which is run by the state. So in this case I’m saying it as Washington, Oregon and California. If British Columbia wants to join I wouldn’t be mad about Cascadia being a unified front.
Either way, the Founders of America had this written into the constitution, and the things that the Trump admin is doing is exactly what England was doing at the time in the mid-1700s that caused us to break away. Forcing taxes on Americans who don’t get a say (increased health insurance and the common tax brackets actually paying more under Trump) and forced religious belief (Christian nationalism).
