I too am curious about what, exactly, set this officer off to escalate to such completely deranged behaviour. Not because I think there’s a justification, just because I want to know exactly what kind of lunacy this is.
Probably just racism. The cop “knew” the pedestrian was a dangerous criminal, he just didn’t have any probable cause. So he had to take matters into his own hands.

I have trouble allowing myself to show anger, because it usually doesn’t help at all and I learned it can hurt a lot at a young age.
That said, I don’t think “show the other cheek,” when slapped by cruelty is the answer either. I was just trying to fish for an answer if anyone’s got one. We’ve got methods to enact change here, but it’s been a losing battle against cruelty and greed that’s been lost for all of history.
It’s definitely gotten better. I just wish we could focus the anger into the inlets that would do something here in America. Hold those in power accountable with more than their own corruptible conscious, end corporate campaign funding, have more meaningful conversations where we honestly try to find solutions to problems with transparency.

Nothing wrong with being curious about the context. Don’t let the dog pile get you down, too many people want to just hate blindly to feel good.
