They are already going to be violent, they will just use whatever the latest pushback is as their reasoning. There’s no good faith argument or reasoning there anyway, it’s all a pure power grab. Even MAGA thinks this ICE gestapo force is going too far.
getting into fire fights with US citizens might be the only way to get this to actually end. Local officials will have no choice but to start taking direct action, and ICE will not want to start kidnapping random people if they think they will get shot at. Other than that, I don’t know what you think escalation would actually look like
What would you have done? By filming and posting it, they’ve mobilized millions of people, whereas helping would just get them both arrested.
Not to mention as we’ve seen with the Charlie Kirk bs they’ll use any violence whatsoever as justification for further escalation.
