I’m not saying that either, it’s that if one side has the strategy to escalate and the ability to control the narrative it doesn’t affect much if the other side (just living there) escalates or not. It effects their immediate lives ofc, just not the overall peace of things.
I do think less direct methods would be effective though. They go after people living their daily lives with their guard down. That might be something to think about.
I don’t think directly engaging them as they’re active with full gear and automatic weapons is necessarily the best strategy.
