I’m almost certain it’s going to happen eventually. It just has to effect the right/wrong person. People have been shot for much less here. Most people won’t do it, but some people are just looking for an excuse anyway, and these people are handing out excuses constantly.
They’re deliberately targeting areas with low gun ownership, low violent crime, etc because they know they can’t win getting into a fight with people who actually don’t mind shooting back.
Yeah, but statistics only gets you so far. Even if it’s significantly lower risk, that risk isn’t zero. If they keep going, they’ll run into that 1%, or 0.1%, or 0.01%, whatever that number may be.
