That’s not what they said. No where did it say you should arrest their kids. They said they should make their kids aware of their actions so they look down on their parents actions.

(But jail for the parents would also make their kids aware of their actions usually)

But the children and wives will suffer for his living. He will abuse them to assuage his own grief and guilt. Better that he dies and and is forgotten. Not what he did, but the man, forgotten.
