Samsung Messages will be discontinued in July as part of Google Messages upgrade

Samsung has shared an “End of Service Announcement” for its Messages app in the US. Google Messages is the intended replacement.

It’s built on top of Matrix, which I also like. It should all be encrypted when being used in the client.
