this is an actual blessing, as the mobile site of facebook is intentionally buggy, and the site is so complex that if you try to come up with ublock rules to hide all the deceptive things (“open the app!”, “you might be interested in xyz!”, and the broken messenger button), then random other parts of the page will break, like the 3 dots menu of any posts, if not now then at most 2 weeks later
burning forests just so that the actual brainless users don’t have to think about whether to decline the notification permission! good job google!
Lets just hope nobody steals my credentials, not that tey’re worth too much lol.
well, access to gullible acquaintances, in your name no less, is very valuable
does it support promptless automatic update installation?
I was fine with the previous material design, TBH.
and to be fair, it looked way better than any implementation of material design 3 so far in any app
yes. google apps must stop being system apps. like there is no reason google music and co are installed that way as they don’t need amy system permissions
now that I look into it other phones of theirs are interesting too. I mean 3" with jack and IR, and still a lot of memory.
unfortunate that o far none of them have clean rom support
For some reason it doesn’t seem to open when I’m on the extension store but it works just fine with every other website I tried.
all addons are prohibited to run on a few protected domains like the adfons store. this is an old security measure, desktop has it too
because from time to time it raises a false alarm about known good apps like kde connect
Google says this “list is not exhaustive and doesn’t fully represent all the criteria used to display the badge” and that “other factors contribute to the evaluation,” though “fulfilling these requirements significantly increases your chances.”
Initial VPN apps that have the Verified badge include Nord, hide.me, and Aloha Browser.
why do I have the feeling that mullvad and proton will never get this badge?
here you go: https://github.com/Tobi823/ffupdater/issues/35
kiwi was always a shady browser, as it was revealed on the ffupdater issue tracker
There are now enough wired USB-C headphones
for sure I don’t want to buy a new one. why the fuck?
and how do I charge while using a jack? I mean when the phone is connected to a PC through USB, it is charged a little so that at least does not drain. but a USB DAC obviously can’t do that, and afaik there are no splitters that would allow to connect a charger
yeah, in case all of you use their services
they do. that’s the definition of sideloading. or why do you think the opposite?
Unlikely. The maintainer was pushing updates more frequently and sooner than the original app. it’ll be fine
Otherwise, look into cryptomator. A completely different approach, it makes use of your existing cloud storage accounts, but at least more private then using those directly. It probably requires internet access all the time a file is accessed, though, but check the docs to be sure.
I was like that. then everything started to become uglier and uglier. and I’m not even nearly old.
