I’ve got an S22 and have been using Phone Link built into windows. Mainly just at work on my work computer. I like it.
I have in on backorder to use as my plex server
I like the beelink and minisforum nucs more than Intel branded.
Doesn’t hold a candle to the plex setup. I might be able to deal with it, but I would miss the UI, and my wife wouldn’t go for it at all.
If Jellyfin had a good Xbox app I would switch immediately.

Thanks for the info!
Plex has better client support though. Have you seen the Xbox app?
I looked at Jellyfin, but it doesn’t have a good app for the Xbox so I’m sticking with Plex for now.
Note that in order to use hardware transcoding you have to have plex pass.
Plex has better client support, specifically for Xbox.
Just so I am understanding the feeds…
Subscribed - just the stuff you are subscribed to
Local - just the stuff in your instance
All - the stuff you subscribe to, the stuff in your instance, and stuff that people in your instance follow from other instances
That correct?
Hmm, OK. I’ve had some issues here and there with buffering, but always chalked it up to the machine it was running on, and (I think) needing to transcode those specific files. If I were to pay for plex that wouldn’t be as big of a deal since it would do hardware transcoding.
The Xbox app is pretty much just the website, and not optimised for a controller at all. It makes you use the left stick to control the mouse and use the triggers as left/right click. This is the main reason I’ve stuck with Plex over JF. Gotta have a decent app for my Xbox.
Weird. I never have had permissions issues. How are you hosting it?
Why Jellyfin over plex? I looked at JF but the lack of a good Xbox app made me stick with Plex.
I saw some of the HP and Lenovo mini PC’s on ebay, etc for a decent price. I went with the BeeLink because of the deal I got on it. $250 USD for a 10th gen i5, 16GB RAM, and a 500GB M2. Figure I would spend the bit of extra money for an more up to date proc and extra RAM. I tend to keep machines for a VERY long time so I wanted to start at a good spot.
