The more users on Jellyfin the better shot it has at getting more developer attention and users willing to contribute financially even if just occasional one off donation. How it goes with any open source application. More users, more developer interest, more feedback from users, subset of users willing to financially support the project

I don’t get how any non-console game service/storefront besides Steam and GOG decides to fund development features. GOG is at least a razor thin margins operation to excuse stagnation

Code compilers so develop your android applications on your android phone. Use your old phone as a Jellyfin media server.

Once GUI applications start working, use desktop software like Blender and Ardour. Desktop Firefox, Chrome. Desktop VLC. Desktop office suites like OnlyOffice and Libreoffice. Maybe it’ll let you install any deb installer and you can install Davinci Resolve. This Debian VM may make Android replace ChromeOS and be Androids solution to a companion desktop environment that has access to a plethora of powerful desktop software
