Don’t stop at self-hosting. We need all forms of community building, from organizing like-minded people to gardening, off-grid energy, etc.

Newpipe also puts the default one to shame! No ads and works smooth even on very old phones. But I guess they couldn’t write about it in the article, because it infringes a few terms of services lol

Your computer very likely doesn’t need a special distro for low end devices yet. A common distro like linux mint will do fine, and that’s probably the best choice if you’re new to linux.

Edit: if you only want to host stuff on it, and nothing else, maybe that yunohost people recommended can be a better choice
