No it works perfectly fine on a relatively small VPS. Ideally you’d want some redundancy for a form of communication but some people (like me) just wing it lol

You don’t need a server rack to have fun self hosting things at home :)

I loved this however my only disappointment is that you can’t use it as a server others can connect to and use the chat interface
