1 month agoI can tell you from experience that I absolutely notice when police do this to me and it absolutely feels like a threat. Being a police officer in the US isn’t even close to being the most dangerous profession but they treat every interaction as if this will be the one that kills them.
it’s easier for them to hit that 22% solve rate if they don’t have to do any actual work.
