Literally just resolution? So if you have a 16:9 device that you’re streaming to there’s no difference? And that’s why Moonlight “sucks” and Razer’s proprietary spyware is better?

If both the host and client are the exact same aspect ratio, frame rate and resolution, then yes. That’s literally never the case for me, nor will it be for most people. Most smartphones are 18:9 or wider with a vast array of resolutions, TVs are 4k 16:9, desktop and laptop monitors can be a myriad of resolutions and frame rates and aspect ratios so yes, it’s a problem.

No Linux support 😞
Moonlight/Sunshine is good anyhow
It’s pretty terrible, actually.
Lower latency and better surround sound support than Steam Remote Play.
Works great for me ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
There’s an entire article in the OP that talks about why and how Moonlight sucks and Razer’s implementation is better. You should check it out.

Cool.
Resolution, aspect ratio, and frame rate.

Yes. Absolutely.
You can set available frame rates and resolutions in Sunshine, my guy. It takes 10 minutes of research to get this working lmao
I don’t need to do any research. The problem is you have to change that every time you switch devices ROFLCOPTER
It’s new technology, they’re going to aim for the larger market first
Seems unlikely
Unlikely that they’ll ever provide Linux support? Yeah probably, but I wouldn’t have expected it from a name like Razer
Yes.
